MEF was delighted to welcome our incoming cohort of Marymount Scholars and their families at California Lutheran University for a special orientation marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

President John Nunes offered an inspiring welcome to our incoming Marymount Scholars and their families, setting a meaningful tone for the beginning of their college journeys and reflecting the university’s commitment to supporting students from the very start.

Throughout the afternoon, scholars connected with members of the Cal Lutheran community, learned more about the Marymount Scholars Program, and became familiar with the resources, mentorship, and support available to them throughout their college experience.

The gathering also gave scholars and their families an opportunity to begin forming relationships with one another and with the community that will continue to encourage them in the years ahead. Scholars even had the opportunity to capture a few memorable photos with the Cal Lutheran mascot, adding a fun and welcoming moment to the day.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to President Nunes, California Lutheran University, and the faculty and staff who helped make the orientation such a warm and meaningful experience. We are deeply grateful for their continued partnership and for the care and commitment they show our Marymount Scholars.
